According to their website, the only current Colt production pistol that is offered in 9MM is the 3" Colt Defender, Model O7002D in stainless. There is always the pre-owned market on gunbroker or GunsAmerica to check into. Maybe someone with some close Colt connections will chime in with some additional 9MM info. Good luck with your search.
Colt 9mm offerings
I am interested in Colt 1911's in 9mm and was checking to see if anyone knows of Colt offering a Commander style gun in 9mm in the near future.

Thanks for the info, I already own the defender in 9mm and a full size 1911 Talo offering in 9mm. Really like the commander size and was hoping they would bring it back.
Give Colt Customer service a call at 1-800-962-2658 and let them know what you're looking for. Maybe they can point you in the direction of a distributor who may have made a special order of 9MM Commanders. NO…the Defender is a different model. The New Agent in 9 mm is no listed on the Colt web site but it does/did exist…..Is that the new Agent? or did they discontinue that too?

Wilson Combat offers their Professional Model (four inch) in 9mm, as well as other chamberings.

I put a 9mm (9x19) barrel in my 2009 XSE LW Commander in 38 Super to save money. That was funny when you could not buy 9mm during the last panic, but 38 Super was only a couple dollars more for 50 rounds and all over down here. I also have a Defender in 9mm and it is very nice. I agree it would be nice if Colt brought back the 9mm in a Commander.
