We had a good thread on this model a week or so ago; at least this one looks "something"like the real article! I've nevr heard of any being Built for "civilian use",and maybe this is why there is no mention of U.S.A.F. Property on the backstrap. No mention of the serial # either,and-that cylinder may not be alloy either, from the photo. We know some "spare barrels" were sold, and could be put on a Cobra, along with the Aircrewman grips, that also were available as parts. Not saying its not "real" but I'd wanna fully document in person before spending anywhere near that $$$. Interesting;thanks for posting it manderson,as I rarely go on the auction boards, due to the "drool factor" and a thin wallet. It avoids 'frustration! Bud

Understood. I'm always skeptical of the 3 inch Pyhons and would never buy one without verifying it's authenticity with Colt. I know about all those 3 inch barrels they sold, thanks to you people.
