I couldn't find a photo thread dedicated specifically to the Army Special. I know how popular they are and how much we love them in all calibers and barrel lengths. So, post 'em if ya got 'em!

This one is a nicely patina'ed 1923 in .38 Special caliber.

Stumbled upon this beautiful 1910. It is not my first revolver however it is my first Colt. Craftmanship is impeccable! The hardened blue screws trigger and top of hammer cap it off. Although intended to be a soldier's firearm. I now see why Colt is the Gentleman's firearm. View attachment 724501 View attachment 724502 View attachment 724503

1914 I think, I’ll have to go back and look. I think last time she was out I had a tough time getting it to cycle. No problem with snap caps, but I don’t think she liked 38 special. Anyone have the right ejector rod head? I’m missing it on this, an agent and two 1899 colt DA

Any answers on rod heads, or problems cycling with 38 special?
