Another Bisley question. Ok so I found another Colt Bisley I need help with. The Bisley is a 1906 model, 4 3/4 barrel---in .38 SPECIAL. The barrel is marked-----(BISLEY MODEL) and right below that it says---"COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPL." Is it possible that someone used a standard Colt Single Action barrel and then had the "(BISLEY MODEL)" stamped above the "Colt Single action Army .38 spl." Perhaps I have answered my own question. So any ideas?

Well if it is, it is certainly a rarity! Brown says that there were only two Bisleys made in 38 Special! I would expect a genuine 38 Special Bisley to be marked on the bbl: (BISLEY MODEL) 38 SPECIAL in one line, and not have the CSAA inscription. Just my 2 pesos worth!
