hello
I got a colt cobra,i removed the sideplate and cocked the hammer back/opps,now it is stuck,i removed the grips not really sure what to do.

Check if the cylinder pin fell back-It often will -If it did just turn it so it falls back in it's hole while keeping the gun pointed down so it can. Then Let the hammer down. Also the hand can move out of position if you cock it with sideplate off and do not hold it in with a finger while cocking.
