I've been looking at a Colt CRX-16. I know that it is made by Bold Ideas Texas under Colt license and not made at the Colt plant. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with this rifle. They appear to be well made with many good features, but I have not found many reviews of them. Hopefully someone here will have some first hand knowledge as to weather they live up to the hype.

I have a CRE-18. It's an excellent rifle. Mine was made in Canby Oregon. It's a step up from standard Colt. Checkout their website. They make some fine guns even if they did move to Texas.

If COLT licenses a product for another supplier to manufacture, you know they provide oversite.. you wont be dissapointed.
