I was just going through a bunch of my old Colt boxes and in a couple boxes that came out of the Colt Custom shop or were special ordered limited production guns, I found what's labeled as a Colt Custom Shop Engraving Discount Certificate.
These certificates entitle the bearer to 25% off the retail price of Colt Factory hand engraving.
The interesting thing is that there's NO expiration date anywhere on these.
I have at least 2 that I've found so far.
I didn't even know these existed. I didn't know they were tucked in the boxes.
Does anyone else here have any of these ?

I could pass up a coupon for catfood-mostly because I don't have a cat. But I'm afraid I'd have to put these to use!
I think you're the only one. SO....what are you going to have engraved?

I just had a nice conversation with Colt's Custom shop.
They told me that they would honor the 25% off certificates that I had found in my old Colt Boxes.
Now that's pretty cool.

You're a lucky man. I have a couple candidates sitting in my safe and I'm just looking for an excuse!
It's been a while since I've done any business with the Custom Shop. Too long!
I don't really have the disposable income available. But I rarely let that stop me!

I don't know.
The damn wait time is aprox 1 year now.
I was shocked actually that they said they would honor them.
Maybe I'll slap one or 2 on Ebay.
I found another one.
Now I have 5.
