We found this revolver in my grandfathers stuff. It has several interesting deals that have made it hard for me to figure out what it is exactly. da41side.jpg
Left side of barrel is stamped Colt DA 41, nickel plate not blued, the pearl handles look non Colt?, the serial number on the bottom of handle is nearly illegible, The top of the barrel Pat August 5, 1884 June 5, 1900 July 4 1905. Bottom of barrel could say 246 hard to read. It has no other marking we can see. Any help would be appreciated to what it is and value of piece.

A picture of the caliber side of the revolver might help some of the DA guys but if the revolver is pre 1911 the grips very well could be factory since they wouldn't have colt medallions before the year 1911. Is the trigger blue or the top or rear of the hammer?
