My first Colt and my only Diamondback. It is well worn but still shoots good. The orginal grips were in sad shape and I found these on the forum. Did a little hand fitting and made a much nicer looking gun. DOB is 1969

Just wanted to add my latest addition , 1967 second year of production, snubbie. Awesome little gun. Feels great in the hand.

Wow! Such nice pictures. Here is my one and only Diamondback in .38. Manufactured in 1967.

 

Here is mine I purchased new and it has sat in the box since then. I rarely fire any of my firearms.

I just saw you (dgro85) are from Omaha. I was stationed at Offut AFB for 12 years.

Also an NCO stationed at Offutt AFB, 9 years and counting. I found out if you get a cheap light box on ebay, your photos will come out better with decent a lighting setup and camera.

 

 

I was lucky enough to run across one recently. 1976. To me it seems that the finish is a bit lighter than my older lawman and trooper. I wonder if that is how it started or if this one had faded somehow over time.

This is my 1966 (first year of production) .38 that I bought used in 1996. Shows very little use, although it has been fired. It has been a safe queen since I purchased it. I took it's first photo with a homemade light box and wanted to show it off!
