Good day,
I am new here, I have a question,I have a colt Diamond back 2.5 38 special, I bought it 2 years ago, it is like new, the serial number on it is : P7505 , I want to know what year it was manufactured ? and approximatly how much does it worth now in US dollars??
can you help me ?

Re-check your serial number there does not seem to be enough numbers in it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

well I am sure that the serial number is P7505 , I dont have the revolver on me now , it is at home , I will check again for the serial number tonight, thanks for the replies

I have serial numbers from 1979 through 1985, but the P series has five numbers ei. 1981....P01001 to P36849. 1982....P36850 to P61990. 1983....P61991 to P73251K. 1984...P73252K to P79999K. HTH

Oh, I forgot, they also made some "Bank promotion specials" along with Pythons in the 1990s that may have been four digit P series guns??????????

Dear Sir, my mistake ...I cheked the serial number yesterday and it appeared to be : P77505 , so from the information you sent it should be from the 1984 right??
another question is how much does it worth today ?

well I just recived an e-mail from Colt customer care, they told me that the D.O.M of my Diamondback with serial number P77505 is the year 1983 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
