I DON'T KNOW IF ANY OF YOU COLT COLLECTORS REMEMBER A GENTLEMAN NAMED JERRY KLUFAS FROM NUTLEY N.J. BUT JERRY DID A GREAT DEAL OF CUSTOM COLT WORK FOR INDIVIDUALS THAT COLT'S CUSTOM SHOP WOULDN'T OR DIDN'T HAVE THE TIME TO DEDICATE.

JERRY WAS MORE OF AN ARTIST WHEN IT CAME TO GUNSMITHING.

AS A RESULT OF OUR FRIENDSHIP I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO PURCHASE ONE OF HIS MASTERPIECES, A COLT DOUBLE RIFLE.
THIS RIFLE IS A 45-70, SIDE BY SIDE, EXPOSED HAMMER. IT HAS CUTOM FLIP UP REAR SIGHTS AND IS RIGHT ON AT 50 AND 100 YARDS. THERE ARE SILVER AND IVORY EMBELLISHMENTS AS WELL AS HAND MADE TAKEDOWN AND CLEANING TOOLS. IT WAS MADE ON A NINTEENTH CENTURY COLT DOUBLE SHOTGUN BREACH WITH GREAT CARE TO ADHERE TO HISTORIC SPECIFICATIONS.

IF ANY OF YOU FOLKS REMEMBER JERRY OR HAVE HAD WORK DONE BY HIM I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

THANKYOU
JIMMY B
