I have acquired a 1933 colt fitz detective special. I just got the letter of authentication from colt that it is a factory fitz. Any ideas of a value. Its in great condition. Thanks
I sold one in about 90 percent condition with the correct grips and the original box in horrible condition for $8800 several months ago. That was a buddy price that went to a fellow forum member. Unfortunately it went to pay bills from my back surgery.
I saw one in the original box get auctioned off at James Julia for $10,000 a couple years back. I think that the bobbed hammer spur was optional. I think these are seen both ways.
