I love my Marine Corps issued weapons and value them quite a bit. Colt really knocked this model out of the park, even if it had a few bumps at the start of it's service. I love this one even if it's not as valued as the ones that were returned. It seems this commercial model is harder to come by and just get more expensive as time goes by. Yes my forum name does say SFC of the Army, but I was a Sergeant of Marines before my move to the Army. Once a Marine, Always a Marine. SEMPER FI

Okay, I have a confession to make... when I first saw these a few years back (six years ago), I thought they were ugly as sin.
But then they kind of grew on me, so I picked one of the commercial ones up. It was just after Colt switched to the Ion Bond finish. I don't regret it at all.
