I have been offered a 6" Colt MK III .22 Mag 98 - 99% no box
for $200. Is this a reasonable price. S/n Y9501
what would be the year?

Thanks

"Good price"?
Not only YES, but HELL yes. Jump on that one FAST.

$200.00 is LESS than HALF the market value for a 99% Trooper Mark III in ANY caliber.

The .22 Magnum Mark III's were the least popular version, and production was lower.
This also means it's more collectible.

If you're looking for a .22 Magnum shooter, this is IT. The heavy frame, cylinder, and barrel makes it probably the best shooting of all the .22 Mag revolvers.

BUY IT! DO NOT PASS GO, JUST BUY IT. Heck of a deal! I paid considerably more than that for my latest Mark III in 22 Mag. But, it was an 8" nickel (as new).
