I'm researching the early Colt DA revolvers between 1889 and 1908. I would be interested in hearing about any revolvers you may have. Some specific questions... Does anyone know the meaning of a circled CFA under the Colt horse sometimes found on the left side of the frame on Army contract revolver in the 1901 to 1903 period?
Does anyone have a Colt CIVILIAN model revolver with a serial number on the BUTT that is below 6000?

Please e-mail me or post any info you wish to share... Thanks!
