I don't own a Colt mfg. date book, but if no one gives you any info, you can call Colt and they'll be able to tell you the mfg. date over the phone.

Value? With the accoutrements you describe? Unfired? An old Colt?

Geez, I would venture to say it would have to be north of $1500.

According to R.L.Wilsons book, it looks like it was one of the last ones made, in 1970, just prior to the start of the 70 series. Book prices don't seem to mean much lately, as Colt prices have been all over the place. If it's truly NIB with all the trimmings, it's the kind the deep pocket boys have been going overboard to get, so Blokeys estimate is as good as any. Maybe even on the conservative side.
