I've been using my Defender for an everyday concealed carry for more than 5 years. It's basically the same gun except mine has a rear site (barely) rather than the "trough". Mine has been reliable without fail after the first 50 to 100 rds.. I stovepiped some initially but that was because I sometimes didn't grip it securely. Just don't "limp wrist" it and most likely you'll have no problems. Lot's of folks swear you have to replace springs every 500 rds. but I'm past that and haven't had any problems. Good luck.
Oh, forgot, mine is single-action only.
