Have been wanting one of these for a while. Found it at the CCA show this past weekend. Would have preferred a blue one, but can't be choosy. Only about 4000 were made. The etched panel is easy to see and is complete.

I've always been amazed at how expensive they are. They're small and in uncommon calibers. Many other pistols of that era are very cheap, almost pocket change comparatively. Like the S&W Safety Hammerless, smaller Merwin and Hulberts, and others. Before the internet era, a Cop and Thug was still expensive, say $700, when the S&W or Merwins were about $175. Even the Colt Lightnings were cheaper than them, 20 years ago. But these and Roots have always be super high, often more than the desirable SAA .
