A friend of mine has asked a question that I've been unable to answer. Will the grips for a Colt Officer's Model fit on a Colt Defender? I've been all over the internet, and had no success in finding an answer. If someone would please help me, and my friend with this I'd greatly appreciate it.
He says he thinks the grip frame is the same for the two, but can't tell for sure. Thanks in advance!

Yes the grip frame on the Defender, Officers ACP, and Compact is the same length.

While the info on the grip size above is correct, you might want to make note that the dust cover[the forward extension of the frame]is about 1/10" shorter on the Defender/ Agent than it is on the Officer/Compact models and therefore do not make a good choice for clone CCOs. Nick
