1932 Colt Detective Special with "SING SING PRISON NO. 19" on the backstrap as well as an additional rack number on the left frame "DCS030" (Department Correction Services). The serial number on the frame indicates the gun was made in 1932 however the serial number on the crane of the cylinder is different. I have ordered a Colt Letter and look forward to the information it may provide me.

My current oldest Colt carbine pre ban made and bought new in 1993 model R6830 marked Sporter Lightweight cal. 7.62X39 ser. LH 004XXX it originally came with A2 fixed stock.

Minor changes (but I kept the original factory parts) are Colt mil-spec captured pivot pin, 6 position mil-spec LaRue Tactical buffer tube, Colt H2 buffer and B5 Systems CAR-15 Colt Fiberlite type stock.
