I think that the guide rod spring on my Pony Pocketlite is very weak. It has never been swapped out and has had approx 500 rounds put through on it by the previous owner.

I am unable to get very good reliability out of Cor-Bon or Winchester SXT. They are hanging up on the feed ramp. It appears that the recoil spring is weak because I can't even get the SXT's to chamber an initial round by dropping the slide on a full magazine. The Cor-Bon would hang up on the feed ramp every couple of rounds. I am not limp wristing.

I ordered a stainless steel guide rod and some extra power 12 lb. guide rod springs from Wolf. Will this solve my problem?
