I ordered a Python Elite, upon recieving it the trigger action was not up to standard so I returned it and requested another. The same thing happened with the second gun so I returned it again. I expected more/better for a $1000.00 gun. I spoke with Colt rep and he stated that Colt has S&W build all Pythons to Colts'specs because of superior machinery(CNC). It is more cost effective than having Colt buy all new equipment. Does anyone have more info: what does Colt "build" in house. Thanks.

Pardon me while I refrain from laughing at that one.
First the old style action of the Python doesn't lend itself to CNC machining. It requires hand fitting, thus the high cost.
If you are trolling then you really need to use better bait.
