I am new to Colts and am a lot more familiar with S&Ws. I would like to know what Colt models competed with specific S&W models. For example what were the competitors for these models: Blue followed by SS version

M&P - Model 10 - 64 (Medium K frame .38 fixed sight)
Model 13 - 65 (Medium K frame .357 fixed sight)
Model 15 - 67 (Medium K frame .38 adj sight)
Model 17 - 617 (Medium K frame .22LR adj sight)
Model 19 - 66 (Medium K frame .357 adj sight)
Model 24 - 624 (Large N Frame .44 special adj sight)
Model 25 - 625 (Large N Frame .45 acp & .45 Colt adj sight)
Model 27 - 627 (Large N Frame .357 adj sight)
Model 29 - 629 (Large N Frame .44 mag adj sight)

Colt has a few models that will fit your catergories so considering normally found barrel lengths and the market they were aimed at I would say:
Offical Police
Lawman
Diamondback
Officer Model Target (OMT), Officer Model Special, Officer Model Match, Diamondback
357, Python, Troopers (plus the MkIII and MkV)
New Service Target (NST), Shooting Master (SM)
NST, SM
NST, SM
Anaconda

There is also all the other D-frames that are only slightly smaller than the K-frame, but are generally matched against the J-frames.

BTW....Welcome to the forum.
