Just found a 5 1/2 45 Colt caliber. in blue CC today in Birmingham, Alabama at the Collectors show gun is almost like new. May be unfired. very please with the gun. serial 700xx SA

Elmer, as you probably already know your SAA was either a Mid-range or Late-range Second Generation piece, depending on those last two serial numbers and was made in 1974. According to the Blue Book those last two serial numbers can affect price by a couple hundred dollars, wether it was a before or after number 55. Of course all Second Generations are pricey.

Did it come with the box and all the goodies and can you post pix? Kinda curious about the going prices of these pieces now too.
