Hi all,This might be a stupid question but here goes, Is the firing pin supposed to be seated tight in the hammer? My gun is a newly manufactured 2013 saa and after firing about 50 rounds I noticed that I can move it around, kind of like a loose tooth wobbles when loose. I didn't pay attention but thought it was tight when I recieved the gun, but can't be sure. Is this normal? The pin that holds the firing pin into the hammer is tight.

Dan, for future reference Colt uses the term "floating firing pin". On a side note, is the 338 for Win Mag? It is my ultimate elk caliber I've hunted with for years.
Hi,Thanks for the info on the firing pin. On the 338 that was my police badge number, just retired a couple of months ago! I have never shot one of those beasts
