Got this screwdriver in the box w/a first series Colt Woodsman, and would like to know if it belongs to that gun, or if it perhaps came with some other model. Or is it even a Colt item? The body is six-sided and there are no markings. It appears to be fairly old. Would appreciate some help in identifying it. Thanks.

Yes its a Colt sight adjustment tool which would be correct for your woodsman. They came in a plain small envelope. Not to common these days, yours looks in good condition. Good find!

Yep, those little "screwdrivers" were supplied with target sighted Colts for some years prior to WWII. They are primarily seen in boxes with Woodsman pistols and Officer's Model revolvers. They are quite scarce today. I have seen some sell for $100 or more in nice condition.
