The owner of the shooting range I go to told me Colt shut the buisness down. Seems that the Union turned down the contract and management shut the doors.

Colt did not shut down. Their contract with the union had expired and Colt's locked them out. It's back to business as usual though.

With their reputation for labor troubles, I am sometimes embarassed to even say the word Colt.
