Older gent / co worker wants to sell his Single Action Army. The sr #, as per Colt's lookup, puts it at 1978. No cylinder marks, timing perfect, 45 cal in Long Colt. Don't think it was shot more than 20 cinders worth. Original everything, no box, no receipt, no owners manual. What is this worth. Really new to this game. Top of barrel is marked PTFA MFG co. Hartford CT USA. Case hardened receiver. Bluing over 95 %. The history of the gun is that it was the only gun left in the case at a shop in the NW suburbs of Chicago when it was robbed via a hole cut in the ceiling. The scratch, which is very minor, was from the glass falling down on it when it was smashed by the offenders. Perfect besides that. Thoughts of value please so I can pass it on to a non internet using friend.
