Ya know, ……it’s fun and educational being on a forum with like minded Colt people. Like I said earlier I have over 17K posts over at leverguns and while a great group of righteous people most are not Colt savvy…..
I used to have connections to the factory and buying several guns right out of the Colt Archives Vault, like those one of a kind AR’s and others…..had a single action in full nickel chambered in 44 mag in my hands but the cost was too much for a working class guy like me…
But sadly, my bud retired but while there I had the factory make me 2 SAA’s with special serial numbers…..the first was Sixgun 1 in 38-40 (my favorite caliber) with a 5.5 and the other was Sixgun 2 in 45 Long Colt. Got them in 3 weeks. What I’d do to go back 15 -20 years…..I would have mortgaged the house and sold my soul…..well, not that far…
Some things you have to leave unfired and they still are….but I guess I can still show them off.

Some guys have big houses and go on vacation to exotic places. Some with their own gun ranges in their door yards.......I'm just a poor old hick living in a pallet house with plywood stapled to it......
