I just purchased this Turnbull finished gun (with a DT serial number), in .45 Colt, from 1998...photos courtesy of Turnbull:





I would love to find a nice wood grip for it, preferably a one piece grip. So if you have any suggestions on where I might look for one, it would be appreciated. I'm ok installing it myself...and making one myself if I have to, as I have lots of detailed woodworking experience.

Scott grips would have some very nice exotic woods with fancy grain that would enhance that pony. He is great to deal with. He also does Mammoth Ivory some real nice grains. View attachment 845580

Meanwhile, being somewhat of a woodworking nut, myself, I plan to make some grips once I get my new workshop set up (since we moved relatively recently). In anticipation of wanting to try my hand at making some nice grips, I purchased this good sized piece of figured Claro Walnut a couple of months ago, which should work nicely:
