Colt Single Action Army Forum Section PHOTO THREAD !

Firt SAA in 45 LC took it to the range today. Single actions are always fun to shoot and takes me a few rounds to understand the trigger pressure.

Found a 2nd Gen 1970 4 3/4 SAA in 357 Mag these things can be addicting . Top one is the 45 C I already posted.

Trying out a new light box figured my 2nd gen SAA was a good subject. I am not good a taking photos at all.

Had to do a road trip this morning down to Tucson to get this one, but well worth it price was better then fair. 1965 357 Mag 5.5 inch barrel.

New set of grips for the 2nd gen SAA these were made by forum member Richard C. There are still a few Craftsman left

My SAA find today an early 3rd gen 44 special with elephant Ivory’s. Grips are a little thin compared to a top of the line set of ivory’s, but they came with the gun for a decent price. Don‘t think the gun has been shot much very clean.

3rd gen 44-40 looks to be unfired. Some additional PICs on why I think it might be only factory tested or shot very little.
