Colt still lists the Python Elite on their site . Has anyone asked them directly if they are actually discontinued ? Their distributors say yes ,discontinued . I haven't seen any new ones for about 1.5 yrs . One of our customers brought it to my attention today .

They are listed under custom services and not production revolvers. You may be able to have one custom built, but they are not making them for dealer shelves.

Word from Colt is, there are no more Pythons...PERIOD.

Colt simply is real bad about updating their web site, and haven't removed all the references to the Python.
