I don't believe you can order online, they must be done by either mail or a call to them for expedited service. Here's the link; see the direct phone numbers and extensions to use: Colt's Manufacturing Company LLC > Customer Services > Archive Services
Thanks for the link Tony I will call ASAP. Wallace

Absolutely right. Most pistols and revolvers cost between $75. to $100. Others a little more. The Date of Manufacture costs an additional $25. while the expedited service adds $100. ($150 for 1st Gen SAA's.)
The Date of Manufacture costs an additional $25.
Are you sure? When did that happen, Tony?
It's been about a year since I asked for the mfg. date from the research dept. and reported the news back here.
I would be bummed out to think they added an extra charge for that.
I don't think they are charging for date of manufacture. On my DS I asked for it and other features and when the letter came back, it had it listed. On my recent DS I ask for the same info and it was not included. Beverly Haynes included a note stating that some of the info I requested was not in the ledger. I called and spoke to Paul and he said they put in the letter exactly what and how it is listed in the ledgers. Not all entries followed a strict outline as to what is included. The government ordered guns having basic info. This was 2 weeks ago. Ron
