I often use this reference chart to locate variations of Colts Semiautomatic Pistols. During the late '80s Colt produced a number of 3 1/2" barreled Models using some form of "Officer" or Officers" as the Model Name. Some of these were fitted with Commander size frames. They included Stainless, Bright Stainless and Blue finishes. Unfortunately this chart provides little about your pistol; See Model Number - 09046 (which is shown as .45).
Here is one of these guns that I picked up a few years ago. Colt General Officer's Model; 350 were produced in 1987; Commander frame with Officers slide; Bright Stainless:
Congrats Rob, wonderful gun! So is yours Kanatak! And thanks for previously posting the Model Number chart. I used it to find info on my Officer's Commencement Model.
