I often use this reference chart to locate variations of Colts Semiautomatic Pistols. During the late '80s Colt produced a number of 3 1/2" barreled Models using some form of "Officer" or Officers" as the Model Name. Some of these were fitted with Commander size frames. They included Stainless, Bright Stainless and Blue finishes. Unfortunately this chart provides little about your pistol; See Model Number - 09046 (which is shown as .45).

I like them both, too. Myself, I've been a sucker for Officer('s) Models since I bought my first one in 1991.
