I am trying to find what was the complete contents of the originally shipped 1953 2nd Series Woodsman Target Box. It has the envelop with the two grip adapters, & sight adjustment tool, Not sure what paperwork, and other contents would be correct.

Rusty - One other item would be a bore brush in a small manila envelope. There would have been several paper items in the box: a manual for the Target and Sport Model (form number M90, see page 404 of John Ogle's new book on Colt paper), a warranty card (probably No. 3246, see page 438 of the book, top card in middle column) and a Shooting Suggestions booklet (Al 7-51 or A-247). I believe some guns also came with a small brochure that described the Coltmaster adjustable rear sight.
