Is it possible that 1978 was a "transition" year for the Python owner's manual? I have had, and currently have two NIB Pythons from 1978 that have the "older" small style owner's manual that is not dated. Other 1978 Pythons appear to have come from the factory with the "newer" larger manual that is dated 1978. Here are pics of the manuals in question:

Is it possible that either one of two different manuals were "correct" for a 1978 production Python? Please check your NIB 1978 Pythons and let me know which manual was supplied...

From the info I'm getting by PM. The answer to my question is "YES", there were two different manuals that year.
