I'm a S&W guy who recently bought a .38 Police Positive (my only Colt revolver). I've fired about 200 rounds through it and really like it. I removed the cylinder to clean it and did something stupid in reassembly. I pushed the pin in that holds the cylinder in place and then attempted to screw the holding screw in without realizing it had a groove that had to engage the pin. Now I can't get the pin out. Any ideas?

turn the revolver over so the CRANE LOCK is pointing down, place your hand under it to catch it. rap the frames other side sharply with a hammer or screwdriver HANDLE. do not rap the cylinder, strike the frame sharply and it will vibrate loose.
