Is there an on-line source to determine dates of manufacture for modern Colt revolvers? I have a Python that I believe was an early 70's version.....TKS, John

I don't know of anything online. Maybe one of the other guys here knows, but I doubt that sort of thing is available online.

Post your S/N with last 2 digits XX'd out & someone here will date if for you using their reference material.

Your Python was made in 1977.
Nothing is available (except here) to get info on serial numbers etc..
