Do the grip panels of the Defender interchange with the Officer's Model as do the magazines, etc? I'm looking to put some thin grips on the Defender I have ordered but Brownell's only lists Govt. models and Officer's models. Thanks for any information.

Yes Charlie the Officers Model and Defender grips will interchange. Same with the mags.

Thanks for the info. I got the gun Wednesday. It looks great! I mistakenly thought the front sight would be dovetailed in, but I was wrong; just staked in. I'll shoot it this weekend.
