My newly acquired nickel DS (ser # 40xxx) shoots slightly high and left of POA. The front sight is also hard to see.

I am considering sending the revolver back to Colt as I have read very good things about repairs done by them.

I'm considering sending it back for accuracy correction, front sight insert, and possibly an "action job" or trigger work, or something of that nature.

I would appreciate any suggestions or input regarding these issues. I am very fond of the DS and would like to use it primarily as my concealed carry weapon.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Colt has an excellent reputation, and nobody knows more about this than they do.

Colt will easily correct the targeting, and their "trigger" job is excellent.
