Nonsense title but I do have a question. I like the "D" frames, PPS, Ds, original Cobra, etc. Looking for and at after market stocks. Those labeled DB, will they, do they, are they the same as the post 1966 PPS, DS, Cobra grip frame design, dimensions?

I believe some early Diamondbacks have a long grip frame (even though I can't recall ever seeing one), but they're normally short square butt. I think it's safe to assume that grips advertised for Diamondbacks are for the short frame, and they should fit on any D-frame of the same configuration.

No Diamondback ever had a full frame. The Diamondback was introduced in 1966, contemporaneously with the abbreviated butt frame for all D-frame revolvers. The stocks mentioned by the OP will fit any Post-1965 (not Post-1966) D-frame revolver, not just the Diamondback.
