Colt would do Double Action-only conversions on special order, and made a few short runs of DA-only Detective Specials as late as the later 1980's and possibly in the last run of the mid-1990's.
There was the Colt "SF-VI "Special Lady" stainless steel DA-only revolver of the mid 1990's.
I've heard that Colt did make a few DA-only service type revolvers on special order for police departments.
