I don't see any glue.
The medallions have the correct flaired tube that locks them in place.

Someone REALLY, REALLY wanted a set of First Type Python grips.

I see the glue-Wonder if they either were loose and glued or originally had silver and replaced w/gold. Don't seem to have the proper flaring on the backside.

I have some of these exact grips. I vowed I would never sell mine come hell or high water, until today.

Wow! I just purchased a Colt 357 with that type of grips on it for $600. I guess I got a really great deal.
