I went to the Colt Collectors Show in Indiana a couple weeks ago and had such a great time with my dad. To top the amazing trip off, I was the LUCKY winner of the Elizabeth Colt Legacy Foundation raffle!
Thought I would share some photos and give a HUGE shout out to the ECLF for what an outstanding job they do in promoting Colt Legacy to the youth. All earning for this raffle went to the ECLF in all they do. Show them some support in keeping the Colt history alive.
Also, big Thank you to the Colt Collectors Association for all the support, information, and tradition in all things Colt!

Here she is...a gorgeous SAA from Colt that was collaborated on by so many talented people.

I think I remember seeing that same smile on your face when they announced your name as the winner. Congratulations, great-looking Colt.

Congrats! That's a beauty for sure and motivating me to get some Giraffe bone grips on something. I really like those. Your pictures are better than the advertisement photos as well.

Congratulations! That is a stellar SAA in my favorite configuration for an engraved example. Love the blued screws, nickel and exotic grips.

And it has “.45 Colt” on it! Those giraffe grips are excellent, too. Congratulations from a fellow Californian.

I donated my $100 for a chance, but I am glad to see it go to a new, (and young), member of the CCA.

Thanks HWJHFS! being A younger CCA member, I am in awe at the knowledge surrounding me now. I just want to sit under the tree of knowledge and listen to as many collectors and stories as I can.

The”.45 COLT” was all done by nutmeg sports. Paying homage to the first gens. It’s one of my favorite details. Not many people notice that! Good eye

The only thing I ever won was a home-baked apple pie at a church pot-luck supper. Unlike you, I decided to use it. What's the point of owning it if you can't use it? :)

If I got rid of all the things I own that I don't use my home would be half empty and my girlfriend would be very happy.
