The Accro sight has a leaf and the rear part of the sight made in one piece.

The actual sight blade is a thin metal plate that fits INSIDE the rear part of the sight.

The Ellison has a large grooved plate that attach's to the rear of the leaf.
This large plate IS the sight blade.

frank, the Elliason rear sight will be stamped with the word Elliason on the top. Sounds like you have an Accro.

Frank, either way , the screw should be a 6x48 tpi (thread per inch), with a threaded shank approx .285" in length (9/32?) Yes, must have the 'notches' under the head of the screw and some of the early ones had an 'indicator' mark (groove) perpendicular to the screws 'slot'. This was also for the 'Micro' sights as well, so they will interchange, I use whatever is available or I can find. Rugers will work too, but the new ones are a bit too long.
