Go to GunBroker then click on HELP, CONTACT SUPPORT and FRAUD if you believe as I do. All the seller has to do is state that the boxes are REPRODUCTIONS. Hope no one gets taken.
"Although the pistol seems correct - the box is not. I have seen this seller claim that the boxes he sells are original - they are not! He even has the serial # of the gun penciled on the bottom of the box. I have been a Colt collector for 35 years, a member of the Colt Collector's Assoc., a frequent buyer on your site and can guarantee that this box is NOT correct nor original to this pistol. I do not think this is the seller's error, but intentional fraud. Notice there are NO RETURNS. Get him off your site."
