this Colt is a buff and polish out the bad spots then nickle the whole thing to make it look better..or was tryed anyway. all looks to be there as in correct WW1 era parts but am not sure on brl. that may be a later GI replacement? its an old nickle finish with some of that thin too in spots. pitting under the grips. the original roll marks dont show to well but can see some of them. i figured it was a fix er upper as best you can . this guns shoots fine and has had some frame to slide tighening done so its not real sloppy. this fine pc sports WW2 stocks and late allen head grip screws. i rate this at 100%, shooter grade. haa, no..its a great shooter plus its a real military colt from WW1 era. $375 to FFL or C&R holder.
