I grabbed this four-inch Cobra earlier this year just because it was there. It's almost unfired. I put 50 through it and I suspect that was equal to its past life.
The serial number dates it to 1950 and it's in excellent condition.
I'm reluctant to shoot it since it seems sort of rare and in such good condition.
How rare are these, and is shooting it irresponsible?
I know that's a terribly subjective question, but I'm thinking I ought to sell or trade it for a shooter, because that's what I'll do with any gun in the safe.
Thanks
Bill

Or me!!
I don't know how many they made in 4 inch but I've seen a few. Yours looks like one of the nicest ones I've seen. Most of those I've seen were pretty rough, so I passed.
