When Colt introduced the new stainless steel "SF" frame it was, like all new model Colt double action revolvers since 1969, a transfer bar safety/ignition design, which MUST have a frame mounted firing pin.
Colt just made minor changes to the 1969 Mark III series for all guns after that, including the Mark V, King Cobra, Anaconda, and the "SF" series, which was the SF-VI, DS-II, and Magnum Carry.
The Anaconda was a larger version of the design, the "SF" models were smaller versions.
