I just came into a colt frontier scout,does any one know where I can get a base pin screw,and can I only shoot standard .22's through it?and how can I find out what year it was made?BIG THANKS

1)Base pin screw. http://www.e-gunparts.com/product.asp?chrProductSKU=183120B

2) If it says on the barrel that it is 22LR & 22 Mag AND you have another cylinder marked 22 Mag, then OK to shoot both. However, if not marked for 22 Mag then keep to 22 LR, 22 short or even CB longs.

3) Call Colt, provide them with S/N & they will tell you when made. Or post S/N here & someone will likely be able to tell you.
